The Buffalo National River is one of the most beautiful places in the Arkansas Ozarks, and winter is one of the best times to see it. The cold air, bare trees, and quiet cliffs give the whole river a peaceful feel you won’t find in summer. This free-flowing river runs for about 135 miles and is one of the few undammed rivers left in the country. As you explore the Buffalo in winter, you’ll see clear water, light rapids, tall bluffs, and wide views of the Ozark Mountains. Big Bluff and Skull Bluff stand right above the river, and trails lead to spots like Hemmed-In Hollow Falls and many more...made even more beautiful when the area gets a dusting of snow during the colder months!

This is funny..

I built a 7-foot privacy fence. My neighbor raised his by 2 feet and put a camera facing into my backyard.
I've been having problems with this neighbor since they moved in years ago. They originally built their fence 2 feet into my property in early 2020. I had to pay for a boundary survey and lawyer to get them to correct their mistake. I decided to build a privacy fence and be done with them once and for all this past November. One month later, they raised the height of their fence, and this pops up (facing front to back). The police won't do anything, and I can't afford a civil suit. (Texas) So, I'm asking, what can I plant or do on MY side to make it inaccessible to him....?

The Ghost Town of Rush in Arkansas is one of the state's most scenic and well-preserved lost towns! Once a booming zinc mining community with close to 5,000 people during World War I, Rush now sits quiet along the Buffalo National River. You can walk the same paths miners once used and see old mine shafts, abandoned homes, rusted equipment, and buildings slowly being taken over by the Ozark woods. Several easy trails guide you through the ruins, with signs explaining how the ore was pulled from the ground and shipped out by rail. Visit in winter and you might catch the entire landscape dusted in snow, giving this silent, time-frozen town an even more eerie feel.
