Housekeepers are responsible for keeping rooms, bathrooms, and common areas of the buildings clean and orderly. Some examples of job duties include changing linens, making beds, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash bins, cleaning windows and mirrors, replenishing toiletries such as soap, shampoo, etc. and washing linens.
Performing other tasks as assigned by their employer.
We are very flexible and easy to work for but expect the job to be done in a timely manner. There’s no gray area with cleaning, it’s either clean or not clean. Reliability and work ethic are a must. The hours would be from 8 am until finished for the day. Some days you may finish at noon and other days could be 3pm. It depends upon how many rooms were rented the previous night. Pay is weekly on Fridays. 5 days of work is ideal for our schedule. Weekends are a must, but we do try to schedule in rotating weekends off if requested. We are a small, 19 room motel that is locally owned. Our employees aren’t just employees, they’re people that have families and lives and we try to treat them as such, while keeping in mind that we still have a job to do and a business to run..
