Hi Blue Lake Family,
For over 50 years, Blue Lake Resort was run by the Grass family. It all began with Marilyn and George Grass, later passing down to their son Jeffrey and his late wife Lynne. In time, Jeffrey and his wife Susan carried on the tradition until just a couple of years ago, when they were finally able to sell and retire. But the heart of it all truly started with Marilyn and George.
On Monday, September 29th, Marilyn Grass passed away peacefully at McKays Nursing Facility. One of the greatest joys of her life was running Blue Lake Resort. She loved the resort itself, but even more, she loved all of you—the families who camped here, the friends who came back year after year, and the many who became like family to her.
Marilyn was so proud of Blue Lake and the memories created here through generations. Knowing that so many of you shared your summers, stories, and traditions at BLR brought her so much happiness.
We want to thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being such an important part of her life and our family’s journey. Your support of Blue Lake Resort over the years—and your continued support for Pavan, Manmit, and all BLR employees as they have carried it forward the last couple of years and continue to do so—means more than words can say.
