Roasted __________ on the Campfire?! 🔥

There are endless possibilities! Here at Fire Tower Camp, we love to try them all. These are some of our favorites, you can grab from the store 5 minutes away.

🔥 Uncrustables – Roast them slowly over the fire until the outside is lightly toasted and the filling is warm and gooey.

🔥 Rice Crispy Treats – A quick toast gives them a warm, slightly crispy exterior while keeping the center soft and chewy.

🔥 Pizza – Thaw a frozen pizza. Roll it up, wrap it in foil, and place it on the edge of a low-burning fire until everything is hot and melty.

Just a 4-minute drive away, Crane Hill Food Mart has been a local favorite since the 1950s. Before heading out for a day of kayaking, fishing, hiking, or relaxing by the lake, stop in and enjoy a hot breakfast on us.

Choose from breakfast sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, breakfast plates, omelets, loaded hashbrowns, and more. Simply let them know you’re staying at Fire Tower Camp and your meal is covered.

Not an early riser? No problem. You can use it later for lunch instead.

One less thing to plan and one more reason to enjoy your getaway. 🏕️

Riding go-carts as a kid taught me what freedom felt like. First a 3.5 horsepower single seater in the driveway. Then a 5 HP 2-seater with a dirt track around the yard. Then riding through a bushogged field at the farm where the grass was higher than my head and I felt like I was driving to the ends of the earth.

I still love exploring. The world gets bigger and we move to automobiles, trains, planes, boats. But I still love driving a 4-wheeler or side-by-side across Fire Tower Camp. Finding new places I haven't seen before. Crossing creeks I haven't crossed. Chasing that same feeling I had as a kid.

That's what this place is about. Exploring. Finding something new. Feeling free.
