Well friends, it's been a minute since we posted here. It's been quite the summer. Hot, dry and hot and dry says it all. But fall is still showing some beautiful colors and the cool nights are a blessing! We are enjoying the last guests of the season as we will close on the 17th. This is where the conversation gets harder. Due to the fact that Neals health is declining and Heather has had some issues as well, we will not be opening the Homestead next year as usual. The constant maintenance is just to much. We may have the Sandcreek cabin available and the RV/camping sites open. Watch our website for the most current updates and plans. We plan on enjoying the time we are given enjoying our new home and praising God for the gift of living in this amazing place. We thank God for each of you and all the support you have shown us these past 8 years. We are wide open to ideas as to the future of the Homestead. OK friends, I know, we have not posted anything for to long. But, sadly there has not been much to post about. It has been too hot, too dry and too slow for too long. We finally had a bit of rain last week. We praise God for every drop. The September calendar is filling up. We are offering a discount if you book for the freedom wall event, September 8-12. We are closing in mid Oct, so, make your fall get away plans now, while you can. See you at the Homestead.

The date of the Vietnam Wall & Cost of Freedom Tribute is quickly approaching, so here is a reminder that we have many sizes of flags for sale. We also have brackets and the poles to go in the bracket. And we have the whole kit with a flag included.
