The Chen Cup is a winter sports event held annually for company teams in the geotechnical/environmental consulting business. Events include a morning race in three divisions; alpine, telemark and snowboard; and an afternoon Nordic race in two divisions; classic and skate. n for Golder. The alpine portion of the race will be held on CHUTE starting at 10:00 a.m. and the Nordic event will be located at the Nordic center starting at 1:00 p.m. Entry Fee is $20.00 for each participant. If an individual participant is going to
race both NASTAR and Nordic the entry fee is $30.00. Fees include two runs and/or one 5K cross-country race, awards, lunch, après snacks, beer and t-shirts. Entry fees will be collected at registration. Specially discounted lift tickets will be available at Registration for $30.00; you will need CHECK OR CASH to purchase your tickets. All entrants will have to register in the morning because you need to sign a release form to race. Registration is from 8:00 to 9:30 am in the Westwing Room in the Eldora Lodge. The awards party will be in the same room or on the deck pending weather beginning at 3:30 pm. Competition for the Cup is always keen, so gather your forces and stockpile your
ringers early or someone else will. Sent along with this announcement are team rosters, Chen Cup Rules, and a map of the Village.
