Friends of Pettigrew State Park has decided that it is in the best interest of our community, park, limited finances and volunteers to cancel our Back to School Bash. We hope to see you at the Halloween Hike....if you dare!!!!

We have had a very fun and successful SUMMER CAMP this year. We also have a lot of new programs coming up and some great ideas. Sadly though, these programs are funded 95% by the Friends of Pettigrew State Park and not by the STATE. Without memberships and generous donations from the community these programs cannot continue. Memberships are only $20 for a family and you have a voice in future programs and donations can be made at the park office.
That being said don't forget our BACK TO SCHOOL BASH on August 10th from 10-1 LOADS OF FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!

This is survival week! So far we've met a deputy, learned how to pack a backpack to keep us the safest we can be in an emergency, we've learned about filtering water, fire safety and we're going to meet EMS and the FD, make and USE a solar oven and homemade ice cream!!!
