Race weekend is coming to Cuyuna! 🚵‍♀

The Minnesota Cycling Association High School Mountain Bike Race takes over the area October 2–4, 2026. During race weekend, Yawkey Unit, Croft Mine parking lot, Cuyuna Connector, Manuel Mine Lake trail access and Red Rider trail access into the race area will be temporarily closed to general recreational use.

All other areas of the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area remain open unless otherwise posted.

Whether you’re racing, cheering on the athletes or enjoying the Cuyuna area, we’ll see you out on the trails! ❤️
