Kind of a WILD story

In March 2015 we began converting the once abandoned sand mine on FM 1942 into a premier Texas campground and RV destination. Aptly named Wildwood Lakes, after the variety of overgrown and diverse trees that were initially scattered about the landscape, the first phase opened March 2017 and upon completion the park will host up to 220 spacious rental sites and cabins for guests. Nestled between two clear man made lakes and finger-lakes, the unique 41 acre park boast scenic water views, over-sized camping spots, gated privacy, great fellow campers and rustic terrain for a REAL campground vibe.
