Picture day at Cuyuna Crossing! 📸

We spent today in the woods with Bailey from and photographer Justin Graddy, and the fall color showed up right on time! There were falling leaves all around and crunchy leaves on the ground. Kind of a magical day!🍂

Looking for help with firewood at Cuyuna Crossing! 🪵

We’re looking for someone dependable to help cut, split, stack, and deliver firewood around our Mississippi riverside property in the Crosby/Ironton area. This helps keep our glamping domes cozy and our campers stocked for campfires!

The work involves lifting wood and working outdoors. Experience safely operating a wood splitter and chainsaw is preferred. We have a wood splitter available.

We’d love to find someone who can help regularly, notice when supplies are running low, and keep our wood areas stocked and organized. Scheduling is flexible, and pay will be discussed based on experience and the work involved.

The Highway 6 public water access is the starting point for the Minnesota DNR’s Highway 6 to Trommald day trip—a scenic 12-mile route with an estimated paddle time of approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes. Bring your own canoe or kayak, or rent one from Cuyuna Crossing.

Bringing a larger boat? 🚤 Launch it at the Highway 6 landing, then keep it pulled up along the riverbank at your campsite throughout your stay, making it easy to get back on the water whenever you’re ready.

Whether you spend the day paddling downstream or exploring the river by boat, you can return to Cuyuna Crossing for a quiet evening around the fire. 🔥
