A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the 2026 breakfast at our Road Kill Café. We are all done for 2026. April 2027 is right around the corner when we will see you again. Hopefully with updates and improvements.

Special appreciation goes out to all of you who played along with the Atlas Menus: for those who completed the challenge of all 12 breakfasts, hope you are enjoying your Quiet Oaks Mug. Please stay tuned for next year, as we have special menus and exciting new ideas moving forward.

Heading into our final weekend for breakfast in 2026; this weekend will be your last chance to try the Northern Tier Sunrise or Foliage Tour Morning plates!

Also, we'll be closing out our ice cream season with a Pennsylvania specialty, Teaberry! We'll be serving from 4-7PM on Friday and Saturday this weekend; look out for more details on the specials later this week!

For those of you who have been following the Atlas Menu, we are now approaching our final journey:

U.S. ROUTE 6 — The Northern Scenic Byway
Available – Sept 26th- 27th, Oct 3rd- 4th, 10th- 11th

Long miles. Big views.
U.S. Route 6 is Pennsylvania’s great east–west journey, known for foliage tours, long drives, and scenic pull-offs. Passing through Galeton and Coudersport, it connects many of the roads on this map and invites travelers to slow down and look around.

We need to relay a couple of important updates to this weekends schedule:

1) Night Sky Talk: We were unable to secure a presenter for the night sky presentation, so that time will now be open for everyone to relax and enjoy the night sky together.

2) BBQ Vendor: Unfortunately, our BBQ vendor suffered a serious back injury and will not be able to attend. In their place, Quiet Oaks Campground will be offering pulled pork sandwiches and beef kabobs. These will be available on Saturday following breakfast cleanup.

For those following the Road Kill Café Atlas Breakfast, we are moving to PA Route 44 Highway to the Stars.

Route 44 climbs through the Black Forest and Oleona toward Cherry Springs State Park - home to some of the darkest skies in the eastern United States. By day it's all pine and ridgeline; by night, it opens into something much bigger.

Come on out and enjoy one of these two selections. Offering August 22nd & 23rd, 29th & 30th, Sept 12 & 13th.
