We were so touched when our guests (a wonderful family of eight) surprised us with flowers, a heartfelt card, and this beautiful watercolor of Boathouse Point painted by their talented teenage daughter.

We will treasure this thoughtful gift for years to come. Thank you for your kindness and for making new family memories at this special place that has been bringing families together for generations. 💕

When life feels like it’s moving too fast, take a step back in time and savor a slow, sweet summer stay at Boathouse Point.

This boathouse has stood on Lake Greenwood since 1952. The boats have changed over the years... from a Chris-Craft and wooden john boat... to sailboats and ski boats... and now a canoe, paddleboard, kayaks, fishing rods, and floats waiting for another old-school summer adventure.

Through it all, this old boathouse has remained the heart of family summers. We love knowing today’s guests are making the same kinds of memories that families and friends have been making here for more than 70 years.

It was a fabulous Fourth at Boathouse Point with an epic full moon, a nightly firefly show, and fantastic fireworks provided by Skippers on Lake Greenwood!
Boathouse Point has been booked May 1 through August 6, but since SC technically has two more months of "summer", come on down and stay a while! ❤️🤍💙
