For those who wonder what there is to do in Crystal Beach in the winter and even the summer here is a look at our last few days!! We took a trip over to Camp Margaritaville Crystal Beach, TX to swim in the large hot tub, they also have a nice playground and jump area. That evening we had dinner ar Stingaree Restaurant that is right on the bay side on the water with gorgeous sunsets and amazing food! I had oysters Rockefeller and soft shell crab taco and man was it all tasty!! The next day we took the ferry and saw dolphins along the way over to Galveston. Of course made a stop at our favorite ice cream parlor, La King's Confectionery and all had some tasty ice cream! After that we walker The Galveston Strand and did some shopping, had lunch at the playground and finished walking Hotel Galvez in Galveston and shopping at Murdochs. Bought a new turtle wind chime that is now on the back porch! Yesterday we had the most delicious breakfast at La Playita in Bolivar and then came out and rode the golf cart to the beach and played in the sand. That evening we shot off some fireworks with our neighboor friends and the kids had a blast! Today high is 66 and beautiful warm sun! Another great day and will be building a fire and watching fireworks all around on our deck!!
