💧 Water Clarity: Fair near protected areas, dirtier beachfront pockets

🎯 What’s Biting:

🐟 Sea Wolf Park:
Speckled trout, black drum, sheepshead, and occasional redfish. Live shrimp under popping corks and dead shrimp near structure should do work.

🎣 Galveston Fishing Piers:
Whiting, pompano, sharks, stingrays, and some slot reds. Fishbites + shrimp combo for smaller species. Bigger cut bait after dark.

🦀 Texas City D**e:
Redfish and black drum near drop-offs. Watch bird activity and bait schools. Some trout showing early.

🦈 Galveston Surf:
Bull reds and sharks remain the nighttime celebrities. Fresh mullet, crab, and ray chunks are your VIP tickets.

🌮 Pro Tip:

If the surf gets ugly this afternoon, don’t sit there getting sandblasted looking dramatic.
