No plans this weekend and need to escape reality?

Cuchara is seeing cool mountain mornings, aspens starting to change, a quiet village and absolutely no reason to hurry anywhere. Yup, this is Colorado the way it used to be!

We still have a few places available for a last minute weekend in the mountains.

We have NO CLEANING FEES and NO BOOKING FEES… and they’re not hidden in some new pricing structure like the big box apps!

It’s time to sneak away to the mountains! Fall is in the air, Cuchara is quiet and we’re seeing a slow progression of leaves changing.

For those of you following me, but never visited- Yes, I am real, yes these are real properties I manage, yes I’ve really been doing this in Cuchara for 22 years!… and no, this isn’t some Ai generated fluff!

For those of you that stay with me regularly, drop your favorite property in the comments or your favorite story from one of our properties!

It’s different in Cuchara. None of the resort town madness. This is the way Colorado used to be…. and several of our best properties are just waiting for you to visit.

And just like that, it’s the middle of September!…. the perfect time to escape the daily life, avoid the resort towns and enjoy a some peaceful time in Cuchara! Experience Colorado the way it used to be.

Clusters of trees are beginning their transition into fall, the scrub oak is starting to show some bright red… before you know it our quiet mountain town will have a full color show!

The slower season means a great opportunity to try some of our most popular properties on short notice. We have NO BOOKING FEES and NO CLEANING FEES and we’re not hiding in some “new price structure” like Airbnb.

All of the sudden we’re in the final stretch of August!

Kids are back in school, it’s still hot where you’re from, you want to escape but not feeling the busy resort towns…

Time for a quick trip to Cuchara, the quiet little mountain town that is still Colorado the way it used to be!

No crowds, no traffic… just beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife and a handful of memorable restaurants.

Our properties are different- they’re family homes filled with personality, stories and memories… not your cookie cutter, gray walled Airbnb furnished from an Amazon shopping cart. They’re a different experience so your family can create memories.
