I was just in Cuchara, a week ago there were 8" of snow. We will close for the season October 5th, reopening after Memorial day.

The latest from the Health Departmen: The county is still on quarantine until May 31.

I can hardly wait until we can open the cabin. Right now under the quarantine, the area is pretty much closed except to locals. Anyone going in is expected to stay in quarantine for 14 days before going out anywhere. They're asking that you bring enough groceries to last you that length of time so that you don't have to go to the local stores. It's still a little cool to be opening up can hardly wait until the weather is right and we're out of quarantine.

The last two weekends in September are filled. Think about next season. Two weekends have already been reserved in late May and early August. Just remember the 3 day weekends, especially Memorial Day and Labor Day are always reserved for family.

There are two weekends left that are open until we close the 1st of October for the winter. The weekends of September 13th and 20th are available. The Aspens should be in their Prime at that time it's a beautiful time of year in the mountains.
