Dans Mountain Pool Set to Open May 30
Due to rain and cool temperatures forecasted for Memorial Day weekend, Dans Mountain Pool will delay opening until May 30.
Hours for the season will be 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The pool will be closed June 1-5 and June 8-10, due to our lifeguards' school schedules. Unfortunately, the water slide will not be open this season while needed safety repairs are made.
The cost to enter the pool area is $4 per person. Admission is free for children 5 and under, veterans and active-duty military with ID, Golden Age Pass holders, and Maryland Park Service Passport holders.
Evening parties are also available by reservation.
Hours are subject to change based on staffing, weather, and other factors, so visitors are encouraged to call ahead at 301-895-5453.
