We're honored to see Ruby Creek Resort recognized as a 2026 Park Innovator of the Year finalist by Outdoor Hospitality Industry (OHI)! 🏆

As a small, locally owned boutique resort tucked along the Pend Oreille River in Northeast Washington, being recognized on a national stage alongside some of the best in outdoor hospitality means a great deal to us. Innovation isn't always about doing something bigger. It's about finding thoughtful ways to improve the guest experience, strengthen our operations, and make every stay a little more memorable.

Congratulations to all the finalists across the country! We're proud to be among such great company and even prouder to represent Pend Oreille County and Northeast Washington.

Your winterizing checklist:
✅ Clean your RV
✅ Remove inline water filters
✅ Drain black and gray water tanks
✅ Drain the water heater and water lines
✅ Bypass your water heater
✅ Add RV antifreeze

Some exciting news for our little resort in Northeast Washington! 🌲

Ruby Creek Resort has been named a national finalist for the 2026 OHI Awards of Excellence Innovator of the Year – Small Park Award!

What makes this recognition especially meaningful to us is that it celebrates more than what we've built at Ruby Creek. It recognizes our efforts to connect guests with the incredible small businesses, people, attractions, and communities that make the Pend Oreille River Valley so special.

We've always believed that small businesses don't have to think small, and we're incredibly proud to see our corner of Washington recognized on a national stage.

A heartfelt thank you to the Port of Pend Oreille and the Tri County Economic Development District for sharing our story and celebrating with us! We're honored to represent Pend Oreille County and the greater Northeast Washington region! ❤️

Carla Greenteeth is back, and she’s being suspiciously vague about where she’s been. 🧙‍♀️🍂

The legendary witch of Ruby Creek claims she spent the year collecting rare ingredients, visiting old coven friends, and perfecting a potion she refuses to explain. She arrived with muddy boots, a full cauldron, and strict instructions that we’re “not to touch anything.”

You may remember her connection to the secret magical garden that once grew where our old concrete vault now stands. Apparently, she’s brought back a few seeds. We’ve decided against asking what they grow into.

This Halloween, Carla is looking forward to chilly nights, catching up with the local crows, and seeing how many passing drivers are brave enough to wave first.

Watch for her along Highway 20 at Ruby Creek Resort. Say hello, keep your eyes on the road, and if she offers you something from the garden… we’d politely decline. 🎃

A quick update on community donations from Ruby Creek Resort!

Supporting our local community has and always will be important to us. Each year, we’re proud to give back to local nonprofits, schools, youth organizations, fundraisers, and community events.

As the number of requests we receive continues to grow, we’re introducing a new online Donation Request Form to help us review requests fairly and make the most of our annual giving budget.
Moving forward, all donation requests should be submitted through our website at least 30 days before your event.

While we wish we could support every request, submitting a form does not guarantee a donation. We’ll continue prioritizing opportunities that make a positive impact in Pend Oreille County and our surrounding communities.
