This hotel is part of a bigger story.

Tucked away in the Black Hills, the State Game Lodge has welcomed presidents and become a large piece of South Dakota history.

President Calvin Coolidge made it his Summer White House during his stay in 1927. President Dwight D. Eisenhower later stayed here as well.

Now you get a chance to experience it for yourself!

Did you forget something?

Stop by the general store, close to the State Game Lodge. You’ll find those little things you didn’t realize you needed until you got here.

What’s one item you (or the kids) always seem to forget?
