Did you know invasive species control costs the United States $120 billion every year? Insects and plants can easily hitch a ride on firewood you haul to or from a campsite and they can damage new habitats that they are introduced to. When camping, buy firewood near your campsite (within 30 miles) instead of bringing your own from home.
