Property Tenders, LLC and George Schwendtner recently went into a crawl space for a homeowner to reconnect their sump pump and make sure an important piece of their home’s protection was back in operation.

Crawl spaces can be easy to forget about—but they contain some of the most important systems in your home.

We’ve also helped homeowners gain better visibility underneath their homes by installing cameras in crawl spaces. These cameras can allow homeowners to remotely view areas around their HVAC equipment and sump pump.

💡 We’ve even installed lighting near sump pumps, making it easier to see what’s happening underneath the home.

🔥 Public Service Announcement for Homeowners 🔥

Recently, we responded to a property where a grill had inadvertently been left on. A change in wind direction caused the heat to be directed toward nearby Polywood furniture, resulting in a chair melting and sustaining significant damage.

Thankfully, the situation did not escalate into a larger deck or house fire.

This serves as an important reminder:

✅ Always turn off your grill after use.
✅ Keep grills a safe distance away from furniture, railings, siding, and decorative items.
✅ Be mindful of changing wind conditions, especially on decks and coastal properties.
✅ Double-check propane k***s and burners before leaving the area.
✅ Consider performing a quick walk-around inspection before heading inside.
