The Dahlonega Literary Festival returns Saturday, March 2, 2024, as a live in-person event (after a two-year Covid hiatus). This will be our 19th year. We are excited to present New York Times bestselling author Sharyn McCrumb as our Headliner.

Welcome to Lily Creek Lodge

Lily Creek Lodge is the result of a fun loving couple (Sharon and Donald) that traveled the world in search of adventure. They visited and explored every continent of the world, many countries, every state in the US but one, and 159 counties in the State of Georgia. They loved people, history, music, art, the outdoors and gardening. They spent their time collecting beautiful things, dining and dancing and enjoying time with friends and family. Lily Creek Lodge which opened its doors in 1996, continues to be cherished by their three daughters, their husbands, 6 grandchildren and a large extended family. Sharon and Don received and cared for guests for 26 years and loved creating an experience for each person that walked through the door. In honor of Sharon and Don, we have maintained their love of travel which is reflected in each of the guestrooms, decorated in the style of a place they visited. We hope that you will come explore Dahlonega and all of the adventure, dining, arts and culture that this Historic Town in Northeast Georgia has to offer and enjoy a unique experience in one of our guestrooms from one of their many adventures across the globe.
