Somewhere between the porch swing and the first page of a good book, the world gets a little quieter.

Morning coffee outside.
A slow wander through the cottage.
An afternoon stretched out on the couch while the fire flickers and the forest waits just beyond the porch.

Nothing urgent.
Nowhere to rush off to.

Just a small schoolhouse in the North Georgia mountains that seems to understand the value of a long exhale.
