The Young Machinists are a group of energetic union members who want to see our peers become more involved in the labor movement and active on the issues that affect our future. We are at different places in our lives - some are single parents, some are still students, some help care for aging relatives and some are still looking for themselves. We are not restricted by age or stereotype. We embra

ce the good from every generation and strive to improve the lives of working families and strengthen the middle class. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the generations of union Brothers and Sisters. The Young Machinists at our Local have adopted "Get Involved!” as our motto. We encourage our Brothers and Sisters to get involved and join us in attending union meetings, assisting in our communities, as well as supporting our fellow Brothers and Sisters when the opportunity arises. Please feel free to be a part of this group and stay up to date with our social meetings, trips, and any information to help better ourselves and most importantly our Union!
