Our Centennial Cocktail Reception was more than a celebration of a milestone, it was a celebration of the people, partnerships, and shared purpose that have shaped HANTX for a century.

From our official beginnings on June 29, 1926, to the vibrant community of hoteliers and allied partners we are today, our story has always been rooted in connection, collaboration, and a commitment to the North Texas hospitality industry.

Thank you to our members, partners, sponsors, past and present leaders, volunteers, and friends who have been part of this remarkable journey. Your dedication and support have helped shape our past, strengthen our present, and inspire our future.

We look forward to continuing to build on this incredible legacy with each of you playing an important part in the next chapter of the HANTX story.

Thank you to all our sponsors Versacor Managed Pest Solutions, Hilton Anatole, Encore, Signature Linen Service, Dallas Tourism Public Improvement District, and to our Visionary and Trailblazer sponsors.

Thank you to Mayor Zapanta and the City of Irving, Texas - City Hall for recognizing the Hotel Association of North Texas’ 100th Anniversary and declaring September 10, 2026, Hotel Association of North Texas Centennial Day!

For many years, HANTX has had the privilege of working alongside the City of Irving, Visit Irving, Texas, and Irving’s hotel community. We’ve watched the hospitality industry grow and evolve, and we’re proud to have been a partner along the way.

Today is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, a United Nations observance dedicated to raising awareness of human trafficking and the importance of preventing this crime.

At HANTX, we are proud to partner with Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking (BEST) to provide education and resources that empower hospitality professionals to respond appropriately and confidently. Training not only creates awareness but equips our teams and industry to be part of the solution so that they can recognize potential warning signs and help protect individuals who may be at risk.

Human trafficking impacts every community, and it takes all of us working together to end it. By investing in education, fostering a culture of awareness, and supporting our teams with the right tools, we can help disrupt trafficking networks and make our communities safer for everyone.

100 years at the heart of hospitality!

On this day in 1926, a small group of Dallas hoteliers chartered the Dallas Hotel Men's Association. Their idea was simple: that the industry is stronger when its people stand together.

A century later, that conviction still defines us. Today, HANTX brings together hoteliers and allied partners across North Texas. We connect people, champion our industry, and strengthen the communities we serve.

But a hundred years isn't really a story about an association. It's about the people who showed up: the front desk clerks who became general managers, the teams who turned hospitality into lifelong careers and strengthened our communities, the late nights and full houses and guests who became regulars.

So, we want to hear from you. What's a moment, a mentor, or a memory that defined your time in North Texas hospitality? Share it in the comments or tag us in your photos—old and new. We'll be featuring your stories all year as we celebrate this milestone together.

Here's to 100 years—and to the many more stories we'll write side by side. https://video214.com/custom-player/0lcwhtoABmPt0IHsJCM6rg
