We really enjoyed our weeklong stay at Camp Inches. The house was clean and had plenty of room (there were five of us). The screened in porch is a wonderfully relaxing spot near the brook. There are also lots of other porch areas outside for eating and relaxing. I spent some time sitting in the sun on the front patio, watching a hummingbird visit all the flowers. The kitchen had new appliances and plenty of pots and pans for cooking. The location of the house is ideal as it's an easy drive to several fun destinations. We went to Profile Falls in Bristol and Newfound Lake. We also did a day trip to Mount Washington (took the cog railway up!) and another day to Quechee, VT. Jody was a wonderful host, as she was very responsive to any questions we had, as well as being a wealth of information about the area. Whether you are looking for a spot to just relax or a home base to explore the area, this is a great home.

"Camp Inches was a truly memorable, relaxing vacation for my family. We went with two teens and a toddler and we all had a blast. Jody keeps the house stocked with things you might have forgotten but end up needing. She was very attentive and whenever I had a question she got back to me quickly. She took great care in making sure the house looked nice for our arrival. Water shoes are a must for the stream/wading hole and so is some good bug repellent. It was so nice to only hear the sound of water, bugs and birds. We brought our bikes and the road to the Danbury Country Store was scenic and really an awesome part of the trip for me (their ice coffee was surprisingly really good and they have a local gluten-free baker who delivers goods there yum!). Plan to spend a lot of time outdoors and in the three season screened in porch. We visited the Ice House Museum in nearby New London and got to ride in a Model A car! We took the kids to Newfound Lake in nearby Bristol (thanks to a suggestion from Jody) and it was really beautiful. Overall, we had a really amazing time at Camp Inches and recommend it for families."

semi-often, we have folks come into the bakery and remark that they had no idea we offered more than baked goods. while i’m ecstatic to be known first and foremost as a bakery (what i consider my north star vocation), we do indeed offer a full regular menu, as well as daily specials, espresso, smoothies, and all sorts of fun items based on inspiration and seasonality.

pictured here, we have one of our rotating bowls, this time warm seasoned lentils atop Sayer Palmer] zesty greens, with grilled chicken, avocado, cucumber, tomatoes from Sayer Palmer], slivered almond, feta, pomegranate arils, and a lemon dill dressing. we’ve got one more serving left today, and i’m coming weeks you can expect to see similar grain/roasted veggies bowls on our specials! 🙏🏼❤️🥗

The day is finally here. We are open today for the season! It's a bit of a soft open. We are still organizing our gift shop as new products come in but we have most of our baked and goods clothing available. Food will still be ordered and picked up curbside this year to insure we are as safe as possible and we will have out gift selections on display outside. We will be allowing people inside out gift shop to shop as well! Masks are required inside. Give us a call and put your orders in for this weekend as well. Welcome back!
