It’s almost time!! If you don’t already know, I’m having an Adult Day Camp at Bald Eagle Trail in Dandridge for adults only this coming Saturday to launch Project Escape, a program I’m offering to provide nature therapy to children who are currently dealing with or needing to heal from adverse childhood experiences (trauma) for free. Mountain Man will be here with his awesome seasoning, High School Reunion will be playing from 8-11pm, GrillBilly Smoke will be serving delicious food, we will also have a local glass sketching artist, raffle, local handmade goods and local artist here as well as several games, music, late night tacos and more! Gate open at 10am Saturday and overnight camping is included with ticket ($50).

All proceeds will go towards the program. I have made some additional space for vendors so I can fit a few more in if anyone is interested (I want local vendors with handmade or homemade goods). I’m not charging vendor fees but if you do well and would like to donate, that would be appreciated. You can read all about the program at projectescape.org

We are hosting an event on Saturday July 20th at Bald Eagle Trail for adults only to benefit the Project Escape Program. Lots of games, food truck and live music! I've updated the Bald Eagle Trail website and I’m finally publicly launching Project Escape, a program I’ve been trying to bring to life for many years now. I’m excited, nervous and so much more but mostly I’m looking forward to watching it grow and help others. You can read about the program on the website where you’ll also find a link to the Project Escspe website. I’m so grateful for those that have stood by my side, cried with me, laughed with me, fought with me, supported me and believed in me throughout this long journey, I wouldn’t be launching this without each of you 🙏🏽✨💐❤️🌑

I love all the small businesses I have worked with throughout this journey. Yesterday, the owner of one of those businesses (Teague’s Backhoe and Dump Truck Service) lost his life while working. He has delivered every single load of gravel I’ve purchased along the way, always doing me right and just a very genuine human being. The video is the last load Marty delivered and spread for my driveway. I had planned on posting it in the near future but not under these circumstances 💔 My heart breaks for the Teague family as they cope with this reality and the hardships that come with it. Please keep them in your prayers/thoughts/vibes as they navigate the days ahead.
