Lagom Landing

Lagom Landing Respite & Restoration at Lagom Landing provides retreat space and experiential renewal activities.

A "transition" or "gap" year program, where students, over the course of a school-year, work with their hands while living in community. Students learn the basics of residential construction and other hands-on trades, applying their skills to help those in the community who cannot afford costly repairs on their homes. Located on 60 acres of land in rural Livingston County, western NY, Lagom Lading

is directed by a Board of 5, and run by Rock Castor, a life-long self-employed builder, and Laurel Nelson, an ordained Presbyterian Minister.

We’re excited to be hosting the Mobile Monastery Chautauqua this coming Monday March 2, 2-8:30pm! Come for as much time as you are able but please let us know you’re coming. Experience a mix of activities: tapping maple trees mindfully, meditation, circling, a dharma talk on AI, enjoy some massage and tea and dinner together. We hope you can join us!
