Home2 Suites by Hilton Opens in Danville, Marking the City’s First Extended Stay Hotel
Danville, Kentucky — Tentatively Opening Tuesday, June 16th 2026 —With the opening of Home2 Suites by Hilton Danville, the community's first extended stay hotel, we are continuing Danville’s legacy as the “City of Firsts”. MKP Management’s new property introduces a modern lodging option that fills a significant gap in the local market. This property provides an ideal solution for guests needing short-term comfort or long-term accommodations.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Danville is a sister property to the award winning hotels: Hampton Inn by Hilton Danville and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Danville. These hotels are proudly managed by MKP Management, based in Lexington, Kentucky. The properties are led by General Managers: Susan Megilligan and Christian Blake Murphy and Director of Sales: Jazmyn Walters Hubbard. Together, our leadership team brings a strong, guest-focused approach to Danville’s growing hospitality market with over 30 years of experience combined.
Home2 Suites offers spacious, all-suite accommodations featuring in-room kitchenettes, flexible living spaces, and modern amenities tailored to today’s business and leisure travelers. Guests will also enjoy a variety of amenities, including a complimentary hot breakfast buffet, a Spin2Cycle center with fitness equipment, a Peloton and on-site laundry facilities, an eco-friendly indoor pool, inviting indoor space and outdoor spaces complete with fire pits and grills.
The property is pet-friendly (fees do apply), with other amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, a convenience market, and access to nearby dining, shopping, and local attractions. As part of the Hilton portfolio, guests can take advantage of the award-winning Hilton Honors program, which allows members to earn and redeem points during their stay.
