Today is bittersweet - we say Goodbye to our Salty Seahorse - our home. It started as a camping trip bare lot, turned into our wedding location, numerous back to back weekend trips to check on the building progress, moving in and celebrating our first anniversary once it was complete, so many trips with our family and friends who supported our journey and we’ve made so many new friends along the way.
Lee and Michelle McWilliams - Lee you built our vision you made it come to life! Michele - girl you are a light and always have a smile and great ideas when it came to Salty. Thank you both!
Adam and Dauphin Island Beach Rentals - what a team!!! DIBR has impeccable customer service whether it’s guest renting a home or servicing the homeowners needs - you have helped us keep Salty running and accomplished her main agenda - sharing her with families to give them rest and joy filled memories. Thank you for all your hard work.
Dot Small - we couldn’t have done this without you. From the first day we walked into your office looking like hillbillies 😆 I knew you were special. You went above and beyond advising us, teaching us, listening to us, helping us learn about Dauphin Island and the Gulf coast. You are so near and dear to us and will always be in our hearts.
And!! To our GUESTS at Salty!!!! THANK YOU!!! For sharing our piece of paradise, being a part of our lives and treasuring her as we do. We won’t be gone for long from DI - but for now with 2 little babies in our lives we are taking a break.
So this today is how it’s ending. We ate our breakfast - took the babies to the beach - packed up - did laundry - napped - shopped and ate dinner then said good by with Salty in our rear view and our little family moving forward.
