Epic Universe was epic. We took a punt on this one, it was an early close as they had a corporate booking from 6pm so we arrived ready to ride at 9am.

We got on everything except the Carousel (although Heidi managed it on her own while the rest of us were doing Stardust Racers), the queue times were easily manageable and the shorter day did seem to keep the crowds away.

A top day finished with dinner at the soon-to-close Bahama Breeze 😢 on I-Drive and my favourite Conch Fritters and Coconut Shrimp tacos.

An epic day out begins. 40 minute drive even allowing for the inevitable delay through the roadworks in the I4. Arrived at 8.40am and in the line for Donkey Kong by 9

A day at Magic Kingdom. This is our first trip with the “kids” in 8 years so it’s been a revisit of many attractions and rides and some new ones.
Today included Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Tron as well as many old favourites such as Haunted Mansion and Pirates.
We even squeezed in Space Mountain and Tomorrowland Speedway as they were only 5 minute wait times.

Tron and Tiana’s were the biggest hits with the girls. Gotta love the launch on the lightcycle 😍
