Week in review
49th annual Yankee Dirt Track Classic
Friday- driver got solid amount of drawing practice in this week… started p2 finished p1 in heat! Feature started p4 was up to p3 when a blind squirrel found a nut unfortunately driver was the nut found. DNF
Saturday- p4 to p3 in heat, in feature driver rolled from p9 and ended up a decent 7th. We gotta thank Jay Hefel for the accommodations and Logan Duffy for saving the weekend!
On side not Sheila packed the cooler to perfection!

Week in review
Friday Premier tour west onion
Night got of to a rough start driver was making his way through the field when another car abruptly pitted for ice cream, with no turn signal… driver would crash starting us 21st in the main. Driver would rebound maneuvering his way to a p9 finish and a hard charger medal!
Saturday Premier tour west onion again
On a rather difficult track for passing driver would advance 2 spots in qualifying starting us in p11 in main and again would finish p9 in feature. However big congrats to the 98 team for unlocking Premier tour history!
Sunday Premier tour Vinton Title night
Driver rolled into the night up 32 points on second, after the dust settled driver would hang on to a p7 finish and collect the Karl Chevrolet Premier tour title!

Monday Dport IMCA
Driver would win heat finally, feature again appeared to not remember how to get around the port! Brought it home p8 congrats to the16 on the win!

Week in review
Friday SLMR Dale Defrance memorial
Thanks to Terminal connections and Mid Iowa petroleum for the extra cash! Driver timed fifth in group and fall back to fourth before awakening to drive back to lead of heat. The car he was racing needed a scooby snack apparently and driver would end in second. Feature driver rolled out p16 would drive around for a bit but got real thirsty and headed pit side. A dnf. However was a fun night on a good track! Thanks Darrel Defrance for your tireless effort in putting this show together!
Sunday knucklebowl
After 45 years of packing coolers Sheila finely got it right cold beer and water even at the end of the night great job! Driver had not been to the knucklebowl in a bit… he would win heat then draw 8. In feature driver came to play right away driving to third on first two laps. Scorers tower was apparently feeling frisky and after assaulting driver back to 8th on restart for reasons known to no one. Driver would end up fifth in feature at the super speedway. Another thank you to Tim Washburn trucking for paying late model driver pit pass makes things a bit easier!

Wednesday liberty Premier tour
The ol’speedway was in excellent shape a timely well ran show hats off to sr promotions. Driver thought he was at east moline and tried knocking the wall down but he would get it together and finish second congrats to the 33.
Friday IMCA dport
Driver ran good in heat finishing in p2 that would be the last good thing driver would do on Friday. Feature driver thought he would get a free hot dog if he hit big white tractor tire, no hot dog and no finish. Focus at low level

Saturday Indy Premier tour Kastli memorial
Driver now focused would win heat thanks curt martin for the heat cash! Driver would draw one and after a tireless battle driver remembered how to do it… he would finish p1 barely. Thanks again to performance bodies, Doug Cue, curt and Delaney Martin realty for the extra cash for the race it is appreciated but most importantly honoring kazz was the reason for the night! Thanks a million.

Sunday Mason City Premier tour
Well back to realty driver was watching drones and ambulances not focusing on task at hand. And would bring it home p7 to end the weekend but didn’t knock off either end so that’s a positive!

What a week thanks Jake Fier for the tireless effort even when driver makes questionable choices! Also big thanks to TSR for not firing driver yet! Could not do any of it without the sponsors we thank each and everyone of you!

Sunday Vinton Premier Tour
Driver would start p4 in heat and end up second! Feature p2 battled to the the lead early on running the cushion when time for driver to move down he was still looking at the “cushions” in the stands, lost lead had a late restart driver took top trying to make something happen and well he got third he made that happen! Good night though.
Next up is the great Muscatine county fair on Wednesday with Premier tour

Thursday cresco Premier tour
Driver drawing skills have not improved drawing 90 coming in gate starting him last in his heat. Driver would make way up to 2nd then redraw the p6 for feature. After gazing at carnival lights most the race driver would end in p 4!
Friday west onion Premier tour
Driver again needs to practice drawing however performance in heat would not lead to re draw driver would start p7 in main. Driver would skip around some peels out on track and end up third!
Sunday Dubuque Premier tour rained

Next up 34 raceway Thursday , Davenport premier tour Friday!
Thursday is free, Friday ticket giveaway on premier tour website both nights potentially free so get to the track!
