It’s been a busy week for bookings for Brookbank Villa. We have taken 5 bookings over the past 7 days - 4 of them from families returning to stay with us once again and 1 from a family about to experience Brookbank Villa for the very first time.

It’s heartening to see so many of our guests return time and again - some are even on their 4th or 5th visit. Thank you for trusting us with a key part of your holiday.

2026 has been very popular with only two small slots still available. The available dates for 2026 (if anyone fancies a last minute visit) are as follows

We have a bit more availability for 2027 but even that is starting to fill up very quickly.

Our new master bedroom furniture has now been delivered. We are delighted with the results and we’ve attached some photos as promised.

We love to shop at Steven’s furniture when we are here so a big thank you to Rob and his team for all their help. They deliver free of charge and then uplift our old furniture free of charge which is then donated to charity.

It’s always great to be in 🇺🇸 for the 4th of July celebrations but it’s extra special to be here for the 250th birthday of USA.

Here are some photographs of the view from our upstairs balcony while we waited for the firework display and then a little sample of our view of the fireworks.

And finally we were thrilled to see the American airforce on their way to Magic Kingdom for a fly past.

How inviting does this pool look?

After the pool deck was power washed, we have been concentrating on spring cleaning our villa, ready for our summer guests.

And we are now waiting on delivery of new furniture for the master bedroom. Check back in a few days for photos.

Our booking calendar for our home from home is filling up nicely with a great mix of returning guests and first timers (who we hope will become returning guests in the future 🤣).

So much so that we have now taken bookings for 2028 already!!

It’s such a wonderful feeling when we see our villa again after a day of travelling. We’ve attached photos showing the front of our villa, and what you see when you open the front door (with the paintwork all freshly painted).

And what a surprise this morning when we saw our favourite birds in the conservation area which we can see from our pool deck. The sand cranes have a new wee baby.

Unfortunately (and for different reasons) we have had a couple of cancellations in the last couple of days. But it does open up a couple of opportunities for those looking to book.

A lovely family who had previously stayed with us had booked for Christmas 2026 but have had to rearrange their booking with us for a later date.

But it means that Christmas 2026 is now available to book again.

We have also had a last minute cancellation due to illness so we have availability over the next couple of weeks (and the temperature is heating up nicely in Orlando again!)
