🌀 HURRICANE SEASON – PART 4 of 5

🎢 What Happens at the Theme Parks?

If a hurricane or tropical storm threatens Central Florida, the theme parks have well-established plans. Here are 4 things guests should know:

1️⃣ PARK HOURS CAN CHANGE 🎢

Disney, Universal, SeaWorld and other attractions may close early, open later or occasionally close for a full day. Decisions can change as the storm forecast develops, so always check the park’s official app before leaving the villa.

2️⃣ OUTDOOR ATTRACTIONS MAY CLOSE FIRST 🌧️

You don’t need a hurricane for some rides and attractions to temporarily close. Lightning, heavy rain and strong winds can affect outdoor rides, shows and water parks while indoor attractions may continue operating.

3️⃣ DON’T RUSH TO “GET ONE LAST PARK DAY IN” 🚗

If a storm is getting closer, give yourself plenty of time to return to the villa. Roads, gas stations and stores can become much busier as people make preparations. The parks will still be there after the storm!

4️⃣ AFTER THE STORM, THINGS CAN REOPEN QUICKLY ☀️

Once conditions are safe, Orlando’s attractions may begin reopening — sometimes with adjusted hours or limited operations. Check official updates before making plans rather than assuming everything is closed.

💙 Remember: a change of plans doesn’t have to spoil your Florida holiday.
Stay flexible, stay informed and put safety first.
