Snowmaking resumes Friday!

Timberline Mountain still has 100% of terrain open despite the recent warmup. Temperatures are expected to drop Friday, bringing a chance of natural snow and another great snowmaking opportunity. This means we’ll have great conditions and plenty of snow for Presidents Day Weekend!

Timberline may be able to stay open until April! Fingers crossed for some more fun ski days!

Timberline Mountain has seen an above average amount of natural snowfall and optimal snowmaking conditions this winter. Our snow base has weathered the recent rain, and terrain conditions remain solid. We expect operations to continue through the majority of March, and possibly into April. As always, operational status is dependent on the weather.

Light Up the Valley: 2 Night Torch Light Parade Event

Timberline Mountain and Canaan Valley Resort are teaming up for two nights of torch light parades! These back-to-back celebrations of skiing and snowboarding in the Canaan Valley of West Virginia will kick off at 7PM Friday February 26th at Timberline Mountain, and 7PM Saturday February 27th at Canaan Valley Resort.

Grab dinner before the show at Timberline’s Slippery Slope Bar & Grill on Friday, and Canaan’s Quenchers Pub on Saturday! Let’s celebrate a fantastic season that’s still going strong! More skiing and snowboarding is yet to come this season!

Officials with Perfect North Slopes said the goal was to be offering skiing and snowboarding in Tucker County by Thanksgiving, if the weather cooperates.
