And just like that......the autumn season is falling all over Tucker County and we want to see S'more of YOU! We invite you to explore our great outdoors here in the mountains! Get outside, explore our hiking paths, take a weekend ride on the scenic chairlift, play a round of golf, grab a scoop of ice cream in Seasons Cafe or enjoy your favorite beverage in the lounge. Shop in nearby Davis and Thomas or check out Smokehouse at Blackwater Falls.

At the end of the day, cozy up at a fireplace and share you stories, have a cup of cocoa and enjoy a smores!

Saturday October 3rd

Reserve your spot!

Experience the scenic “Walk Between the Parks,” an eight-mile guided hike highlighting the natural beauty of Canaan Valley. This event includes a variety of activities such as the 'Walk a Mile' contest, shorter alternative hikes, and interpretive walks along the route.

Registration includes a boxed lunch and shuttle service from Canaan Valley Resort State Park.

Boxed Lunch Includes:
Choice of turkey or ham sandwich with American or Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato, plus a cookie, chips, and bottled water.

Registration:
$30 for adults
$20 for children (ages 6–11)
Limit of 14 hikers

Pre-registration is recommended. Participants may register this week by calling 304-866-4121, Ext 2788 prior to the walk on Saturday morning.
