The bass are definitely in transition as the grass begins to mat and the bluegill start to move in. The frog and Toad baits are starting to play a roll as well as the chatterbait and Spinnerbait as the Shad are working there in the shallows for the drawdown. The Big Worm is a definite big bass bait Texas rigged to work around wood and grass edges. The topwater bite is hit and miss but when you find active baitfish it can be fun. Depending on the water current flow really dictates the shellbed offshore game but if they pull water you need to find some. The Scope Minner and the Coike style are great but when they struggle the jig and dropshot are hard to beat. These areas can be in creeks and the main channel.
