Dayton put together a real cool weekend for All Wheels/Fathers Day that featured food trucks, street vendors, live music until almost midnight, Indy film, classic cars, lowriders, a ribbon cutting for a new Quilt Shop, strawberry balsamic margaritas, demo derby, and obligatory blocks of curly fries. Thank you to everyone who participated. See you next year.

It’s All Wheels Weekend and the party starts tonight with Mexican start tacos, live music, classic cars, and scratch cocktails. There will be show cars and vendors all over Main Street (Hardware District) plus a b**r garden. TrailFest happens on Saturday at Jasper Mountain. Lowrider cars and a free screening of Jason Pastor-ONeel movie at the Liberty Theatre. Boldmam House is hosting yoga on their beautiful grounds Saturday morning. Dayton Quilt Co has a grand opening. The Den is also making a debut on Main. Artwork from Santa Fe Carol Hartsock is on display. Tons of activities for all interest groups. Would not be complete without a demo derby at the fairgrounds. WhoopemUp Cafe returns on SAT, JUNE 13 starting at 5pm with a 3-course dinner headlined by Val’s famous Cajun Gumbo.

A spicier, richer Gumbo that is served with potato salad (to cool it down a bit!). And of course, you can also expect The Bobcat Room to be doing its thing as usual.
