Due to yesterday's rain, GA parking is currently closed. Please wait to come out to the festival until further information is provided. There will be an update for those planning to park in GA parking at 10:00am.

UPDATE (5:10pm): We’ve done our best under the unfortunate circumstances, however due to the amount of rain received the last two days our parking area has been severely limited and we are unable to accommodate any more parking today. We apologize that the conditions did not allow for everyone to come out today. We have a drop off system at Natural Chimneys if you are able to make that work. Please also plan ahead for pick up if you choose to be dropped off. We will communicate about potential refunds for those affected early next week.

Many thanks to the Sangerville Towers Ruritans for their help and the many staff who have worked tirelessly this weekend to help address the situation.

UPDATE 12:35pm: The Sangerville Towers lot is now full. Currently there is no GA parking. Again, plan to arrange a ride out to the festival today. (If getting dropped off, be sure to arrange a pick up, as well!) We continue to work on parking and will post again when we have an update. Stay tuned!

GA PARKING UPDATE
Due to the rain yesterday, the GA Parking lot is still closed. We will be shuttling folks from a nearby parking lot (about 3 minutes up the road) at the ballpark behind Sangerville Tower Ruritan Building, 38 Emmanuel Church Rd, Mt Solon, VA 22843 beginning at 11am. Please follow the road behind the Ruritan building to park. We strongly encourage folks coming today to carpool if possible.

Or plan to get dropped off! We have a drop off zone at Natural Chimneys Park. Our gates are open to people and we are ready at check-in. When you get dropped off, arrange a pick up ride, as well.

If you are currently parked in GA Parking, we continue to work on fixing parking entrance and exits. For now, please stay put and plan to enjoy the festival. We had a great first day ahead of the rain and look forward to a wonderful Saturday!

Colonial Trade Fair, Saturday, June 17, 10-3:00 pm.

Get ready to hit the road with a drive to the town of Dayton to visit the Trade Fair at Fort Harrison. The weather is looking like it will be perfect! A great day to enjoy all the different people demonstrating their 1700's trades. Take the opportunity to purchase some of their handiwork. Enjoy the 1700's dancing and the fun loving kids games.

Our 2023 After Dark at Gen Park season begins on Saturday, June 3rd! Bring a chair or blanket, sit back, and enjoy these free, family-friendly concerts, or if you prefer to dance the night away, that is great too! Outside food and drinks (non-alcoholic) are permitted.
