We had a wonderful group of people show up to say goodbye to our Friend Charlotte Reed today.

Several spoke of the Love she freely gave and how much she cared for those she knew.

We even had one person sing a song just for her.

Family came In from as far as Ohio and other states near that area to pay their Respects to a Woman who touched a lot of Lives.

Lots of food was served by those that came and one local restaurant gave two huge platters of Chicken to a woman that lived near there and ate there often.

One of our Members put a drive together of pictures of Charlotte taken through out the years that was played on the TV.

I was so happy to see how many people cared enough to show up today, thank you all.

Club Members & Friends

Just a Reminder that next Sunday September 6th there will be a

Celebration of Life For

Life Member Charlotte Reed.

This Event will be held at the Daytona 200 MC Clubhouse from
2:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

If you have any pictures of Charlotte you’d like to bring to share, Joe said please do.

Charlotte was a Very Well Loved and Devoted Member of the 200 MC and we all miss her.

Alright Camping Family & Friends.

Some of you were right on it first thing yesterday morning and got your Reservations in, some of y’all waiting until last night.

But in any case Reservations are now being made and Favorite Sites are being requested.

While we usually have lower numbers during Biketoberfest (and all of Daytona does) if you have a Favorite Spot don’t wait to get your Reservations In!!

With only One Weekend for Biketoberfest you can’t wait until “the next weekend” to get your spot.

For those that might be New, been awhile since you’ve been here, or are just checking us out for the 1st Time, here are Two Videos that show How to get here, What the Sites look like, and what to expect inside the Clubhouse.

Alright Guys in two days - August 24th - the Camping Registration for Biketoberfest will be Opened.

So if you got a favorite spot get your request in first!

While we can not guarantee you’ll get exactly what you want, we’ll do the best we can to make you happy.

Updated Map is available to look at with the 5 New Rental Tent option.

Looking forward to seeing all our Camping Family & Friends once again.

Camping Family and Friends.

It has been brought to my attention by both Campers and Staff that several Campers have taken to sleeping inside the Clubhouse on the couches instead of in their tents- or not even setting up their tent at all.

This action has caused some Campers to feel that they can not use the Clubhouse to watch TV or other activities due to a couch being used for overnight sleeping.

So from now on there will be only Two Exceptions for Sleeping Inside the Clubhouse for Campers.

1- Every once in a while we get extremely cold temperatures hit, usually during Bike Week, and we do not want you to freeze in your tent. If that Situation happens, you are welcome to come inside and stay warm.
Likewise if Torrential Rains hit and everything you got gets soaked, you can sleep inside the Clubhouse while you dry out.

2- If you arrive to Check In after 11:00 pm, in order to not disturb those already in their tents and sleeping while trying to set up in the dark, you are welcome to Sleep inside until the next morning.
Please call us if you know you are going to be coming in late so we can watch for you.

Staff on Overnight Shift Duty may choose to Nap/Sleep on a Couch as long as it does not interfere with our Campers using the Clubhouse.

Hopefully Everyone can agree to and follow this policy as we wish to have All Our Campers enjoy their stay with us.

If you’ve never seen or been here, it’s a great Day Trip from the Club.

The original Owner had the Gardner laid out the vegetation so that some Flowers are always Blooming!!

On one of the highest hills in peninsular Florida stands a soaring pink marble tower that sings out over the orange groves, built by a Dutch immigrant as a thank you to the country that welcomed him. 🎶 Bok Tower Gardens near Lake Wales is one of the most quietly magical places in the whole state.

Edward Bok arrived in America as a poor boy from the Netherlands and rose to become a hugely successful magazine editor. Grateful for the life he had found, he set out to create a place of beauty for everyone, hiring a famous landscape designer to transform a sandy hilltop into a lush sanctuary of ferns, palms, oaks, and blooming shrubs. At its heart he raised a two hundred foot Singing Tower housing a grand carillon of bronze bells, dedicated in 1929.

Nearly a century later, the bells still ring out across the gardens several times a day, their music drifting over visitors who wander the shaded paths and quiet reflecting pool. 🔔 Bok famously urged people to make the world a bit more beautiful for having lived in it, and his gift still does exactly that. There is a deep peace in that place that is hard to put into words. Have you ever stood beneath the Singing Tower and heard those bells roll across the hilltop?
