Reason 213 I love this place that has been a place of rest, relaxation, and peace for my family. Temperature while driving down from Belle to Spearfish (2nd pic) and at the cabin. The plentiful and majestic pines provide ample shade.

Two new places we had never been to we visited last month when we were on vacation were:

-Storybook Island in Rapid City
-Spearfish City Park

Great stops for the kiddos and no admission fees for either. We will be back!

While the front porch has been a fan favorite for morning coffee, on a rainy day cozy cozy up in the reimagined master suite with a cup of coffee and a book from the shelf. ☕️📕

Plumbing and heating weekend at the cabin! We are converting entire cabin to propane forced air HVAC. Thanks J&S Metal Fabricators and Shane White Plumbing for playing in the hills this weekend!
