What a HUGE hit Trick-or-Treat at Pulpit Rock Campground was on Saturday! We had so many trick-or-treaters come through and so many campers who went all out with their amazing decorations!

It even seemed to warm up a bit for trick-or-treating, making for a great afternoon! We wrapped up the night with an outdoor movie, and despite the chilly weather, everyone had a great time.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out, handed out candy, decorated their campsites, and helped make the night so special. We appreciate you all!

Fall camping is just around the corner! 🍂

The cooler weather is starting to arrive, and October is one of the best times to enjoy camping around Decorah. The fall colors usually start showing up in October, making for some beautiful camping weekends.

Pulpit Rock Campground is open through October 31, so there’s still plenty of time to get one more camping trip in before the season ends!

Trout Run Trail in Decorah, Iowa.

Trout Run Trail is an 11-mile biking/walking loop path around the city of Decorah. This is a drone photo looking down the switchbacks that wind as the trail heads down to the Upper Iowa River.
