After much thought and consideration, we have decided to close down the Riverwind Inn B&B permanently. We have had seven amazing years at the Riverwind Inn, receiving numerous awards and accolades including multiple Best of CT, Best of New England, Best of the Shoreline, Small Hospitality Business of the Year from the State of CT, seven consecutive years of TripAdvisor’s Travelers Choice Awards. We maintained a five-star rating on Google and TripAdvisor. The Inn thrived, outperforming each previous year. We achieved our goals above and beyond our expectations. But most of all, we were blessed with the most extraordinary guests from all over the world who truly made this an incredible experience. More than 11,000 people chose to stay with us over the seven-year period! That is truly noteworthy! That is a lot of eggs!
This decision was not made lightly but life goes on and we are getting older! Ha-ha, sounds like a song lyric! We have a grandchild, a wedding in the Spring, we have places to go and people to see. We are moving on and it is a good thing! Thank you to our incredible employees Carla, Kienan and Dalila for all of their hard work; our vendors and all of our guests.
