As we are getting closer to the opening of the gun hunting portion of deer season, a few reminders. I will start with, please be safe while out hunting and enjoy the outdoors. We had a great week of fishing at the Higgins Cabin. Caught a limit of crappie and some nice catfish on the trotline, but not before we had to change out the water pump in the ole Mercury. The big flathead was the surprise of the trip, so we took a couple of pictures and turned her loose for another day.
