Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our country.

As we continue restoring the historic Grant Hotel, we’re reminded that places like this hold generations of stories, sacrifice, and community.

Memorial Day is more than the start of summer — it’s a day to reflect on the people who made our freedoms possible.

Thank you to those who served, and especially to those who never made it home. 🇺🇸

This episode was one of the hardest for us to share.

What started as a normal day working on the Grant Hotel quickly turned into one of the scariest moments we’ve experienced during this restoration. For a long time, we weren’t sure if we wanted to include this part of the journey, but we’ve always wanted to be honest about what this project really looks like — the good moments, the difficult ones, and everything in between.

We’re incredibly grateful Matt is okay, and we’re thankful for everyone who continues to follow along and support this restoration with us.
