Please note that the 2026 Annual Gift of Sight Awards Luncheon has been rescheduled following the recent storm.
The luncheon will now take place on Sunday, November 22, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Captain Bill’s Bayview House, 122 Ocean Avenue, Bay Shore, NY.
This year’s honorees are Dr. David Y. Rhee and Chairperson Emeritus Mary Naccarato. We hope you’ll join us in celebrating their well-deserved recognition.
If you plan to attend, please contact your Lodge President so your name can be included with the lodge’s attendee list. Please respond by November 10, 2026. Reservations are also open to those who could not attend on the original date.

The LI Columbus Day Parade was a spectacular celebration of culture and fraternity ! 🇺🇸🇮🇹

🤩 Congratulations to Brumidi Lodge Special Honoree Virginia Usak.

👏🏻 Thanks to NYS OSDIA President Arthur and the Town of Babylon (especially Rich, Anthony and Stevie) for their support and efforts including DPW and the SCPD. Thanks to Sal for the use of his vintage car.

🇺🇸🇮🇹 The LI Columbus Parade is today! 1pm kickoff from the Deer Park Fire Department marching to the Brumidi Lodge. The Parade includes music, bands, floats, well deserving Grand Marshals and more. Join us as we celebrate rich Italian heritage and culture. The Parade is presented by NYS OSDIA and the Town of Babylon.

🎪 The Festival started last night and continues today immediately following the Parade. Live entertainment, food vendors, fun activities, bounce houses, raffles, indoor/outdoor merchandise vendors and more! Free admission.

🥫The Brumidi Lodge is a collection site for the Town of Babylon Pasta & Sauce Drive, your donations are appreciated.

The 2026 Long Island Columbus Day Parade Is TOMORROW!

The Long Island Columbus Day Parade will take place tomorrow, Saturday, October 10th, in Deer Park. Festivities will begin with breakfast at 11:00 a.m. at the Deer Park Lake Avenue Firehouse, followed by a program at noon and the parade kickoff at 1:00 p.m.

Grand Marshals include Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, OSDIA State President Arthur Spera, OSDIA State First Lady Joanne Spera, National OSDIA President Thomas Lupo, OSDIA State Chaplain the Rev. Fr. Anthony Saliba and North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jen DeSena.

The parade will feature floats, banners, music and other attractions. All groups are invited to attend and march. Following the parade, a community festival featuring entertainment and family-friendly festivities will be held at the Constantino Brumidi Lodge No. 2211, located at 2075 Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park.
