Ever notice how the drive home fills up with plans before you've even unhitched? We built Woods & River for the opposite. You get 1,800 feet of Rio Grande frontage, 22 acres of room to breathe, and six distinct RV areas, so you can pick the setting that fits your rig and your mood.

Want shade and a tree-lined walk? Try River Wood. Prefer sunshine and open meadow? Meadow and West Meadow have you covered. Traveling with a group or planning a family reunion? East Camp and our group stays are made for gathering. Whichever you choose, the river does the rest.

Fish a little, float a little, or do nothing at all. Our office, showers and laundry are close by, bikes are free to use, and Jackalope Anglers nearby can set you up with kayaks, paddleboards and guided fishing tours. Bring the dog, too. West Meadow has an off-leash area, and it's a 2.5-acre favorite.

We're an RV-only campground with 1,800 feet of river frontage, so whether you're here in spring runoff, summer float season, or a quiet winter weekend, your rig sits right beside the water. Pick the area that fits how you like to travel: River Front for trees and grassy banks, River Wood for shade one row back, Meadow or West Meadow for longer pull-throughs, or East Camp for full hookups and covered picnic tables.

Spend the morning fishing, the afternoon on a paddleboard, and the evening doing nothing at all. Bikes, co****le, disc golf, and a 2.5-acre off-leash area are all included, and Jackalope Anglers can set you up with float tubes, kayaks, or a guided fishing trip.

Winter walks at the off-leash area are a different outing than summer. We keep ours short, bundle up the pups, and give the river a wide berth when the banks are icy.

If you're bringing your dog to the Rio Grande this season, plan for a quick loop, check those paws after every walk, and head back to the RV to warm up together.
