A great place for meetings, retreats, reunions, etc, the ranch rents cabins for a daily, weekly, monthly, or seasonal rate. The ranch features 2,400 acres of beautiful pristine ranch land to explore, a 60'x90' Activity Center that houses a full kitchen/dining facility, a 50,000 gallon swimming pool, a BBQ area, many hiking trails, and a variety of hunting packages. LOMA ALTA COMMUNITY HAS NOT BEEN FORGOTTEN:
FYI: Commissioner Juan Vasquez has responded quickly and Lupe was back out here working this morning, bless his heart. Commissioner Vasquez has crews beginning working the County road as early as Saturday morning, all the way to the park. They will work through the weekend.
FYI: Judge Owens has been involved in the planning. Commissioner Kerr Wardlaw, Precinct 2 called with concern and ideas, as well. We are in good hands!
FYI: water is still flowing across the road today, but several high clearance trucks & a Jeep have successfully crossed. Be careful if you try, it will be much safer tomorrow.

Lupe, who has worked for the County for decades, was successfully rescued by Border Patrol airboat just now. He has checked out fine… He had to swim out from his vehicle to shore. Bless his heart. He’s alive and safe. Thank you, Alli & Border Patrol for the successful rescue. Commissioner Vasquez and Judge Owens were there, and they want to put a flood marker in that dip.

Raymond & Ellen surely do make ranch-work fun! Everyone got involved. We always learn a lot, too. Restoring and setting up this trough was a 2 day project. The cover is designed to keep pigs from getting in and wallowing and wasting water, but livestock & deer can still drink.
