The 144 year-old Inn proudly welcomes guests to enjoy its old world elegance, grace and charm, which characterizes this splendid vintage turn-of-the century mansion. Rodger and Debbie want to share the historical beauty of The Winter St Inn with their guests, who are welcome to make The Winter St Inn their home away from home. talian marble fireplaces, bridal staircase, baby grand piano and antiques throughout. Rodger and Debbie purchased the home in October 2006. They invite you to fall in love with the home just as they did, and make it your home away from home whether you are in Delaware, just passing through or just need a Romantic getaway. The Inn is available for parties, fundraisers and weddings as well. Guided tours are available on request, Rodger and Debbie love to share a piece of the historic past with the present.

For nearly two decades—19.5 incredible years—you’ve welcomed us into your lives and voted us Best Bed & Breakfast / Hotel for 18 years running. We are beyond grateful.

What an honor it has been to open our doors each day, share stories over breakfast, celebrate milestones, and create a place that felt like home. This recognition was never just about us—it was about the amazing guests and community who made Winter Street Inn what it became.

As of June 1, 2026, we will be retiring and beginning a new adventure—traveling the world and chasing a few dreams of our own.

While this chapter is coming to a close, our hearts are so full knowing it was shaped by all of you. Thank you for your support, your loyalty, and for trusting us with your memories for 19.5 beautiful years.

We hope our paths cross again somewhere out there in this big, beautiful world.
