FEATURED GUESTS: This week meet three Buckeye Trail hikers. They recently enjoyed a stay with us while hiking the Delphos section of the trail. On the left is Elizabeth, from Adrian, Michigan, she is employed as a nurse. Pictured in the center is Jessica, employed as a physical therapist. On the right is Erin who is employed as an operations lead and is a small business owner. Both Jessica and Erin are from Columbus, Ohio.

The ladies shared they love hiking the trail as it is an escape from every day life. For them it is an ideal way to explore Ohio, experiencing the unique things adjacent to the trail such as local eateries, museums, historical points of interest, etc.

Jessica also shared that she loved staying at guesthouse as it was nostalgic for her. It brought back many happy memories of her visits with her great grandmother in Pennsylvania, who lived in a grand Victorian home.

We thank them for choosing to stay with us! It is always a pleasure for us to host hikers from The Buckeye Trail! If you have not been on the trail, get out there and enjoy this wonderful gift of nature that is adjacent to our hometown! 🥾🥾

Looking for a unique housewarming gift for a new homeowner? ATTENTION ART LOVERS! Lou Mandryk, local artist, added a new painting to his collection. It’s an amazing piece of local art! We display many of Lou’s paintings throughout the guesthouse for our guests to enjoy, and they do! Much of his work is for sale. Have something from the past or a loved one’s image that you have always wanted to have professionally painted? Lou is available to do commissioned work of all types! FEATURED GUESTS: Meet (l to r) Ryan & Ashley from Macomb Michigan and Chloe & Ben from Orrville Ohio. They were in town this past weekend to attend their mutual friend’s wedding in Ft. Jennings. Ryan and Chloe are both physician assistants (recent graduates of The University of Toledo) and Ben and Ashley are both engineers. Ryan said they had a great stay at the guesthouse which we always appreciate hearing! It was a pleasure to have them stay with us and they are welcome back anytime! 🍾🥂

FEATURED GUESTS: Meet Scott & Adrian, from Indiana, who recently stayed with us while visiting the traveling GoldStars Tribute Wall at Fort Fest in Ft. Jennings. Scott is a millwright journeyman & Adrian is a receptionist at a urology center. The GoldStars Tribute Wall is a mobile memorial honoring United States military members who died during the Gulf War, Iraq War, and Afghanistan conflict. It travels to different cities across the United States to educate the public and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. They follow the wall as Adrian’s first husband is named on the wall. We appreciate and thank all who have and now are defending our great nation. It was a pleasure to have them stay with us and Scott said they had a good stay and they plan to return. We welcome their return!

FEATURED GUESTS: Meet Roger & Lynn from Kentucky, first time recent guests at The Victorian Guesthouse Bed & Breakfast. Roger is a 1981 graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School and they returned home for his 45th high school class reunion. He is retired from the Army and is currently working at Homeland Security as Chief of Casualty for the U.S. Coast Guard. Lynn is the owner of The Bluegrass Home, a DIY home decor & garden website.
